If you'd like your Swag Tag data deleted, here's how it works and what to expect.
What gets deleted
Your player profile, save data, and progression stored in PlayFab.
Any connection and session logs held by Photon that are tied to your account.
Any support or contact records we hold directly, tied to your email address.
Purchases and transaction records may still be retained by Oculus and PlayFab as required for financial, tax, or legal record-keeping, even after your gameplay data is deleted.
How to request removal
Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, with the subject line "Data Removal Request."
Include your in-game username and, if you have it, your Oculus account email, so we can find the right records in PlayFab and Photon.
We'll confirm we've received your request and let you know once it's been processed.
Deleting your data means your progress, gear, and crew connections are gone for good — there's no getting your save back afterward.
How long it takes
We aim to process removal requests within 30 days. Some data may briefly persist in backups until they naturally roll over, even after it's removed from live systems.
Uninstalling vs. requesting removal
Uninstalling Swag Tag from your headset stops the game from running locally, but it doesn't delete your account or save data from PlayFab or Photon. To remove that data, you'll need to send a request as described above.
